  I have been here many times and had good experiences, but the last two times I have had some issues- our hot food order had missing items but when queried we were told that we had been given everything we asked for. I let them know that they had charged us for food we ordered but hadn't received. It took at least 15 minutes back and forth to realise the cashier had put through our order correct on the machine, but did not write down everything for the cooks to make, hence the missing food. It would be good to offer receipts which would make it easier to fix mistakes in orders. I went back today for hot chips but way too much salt was added and made it barely edible for my family. I have had good service in the past but I'm not sure if I would go back

  Been a devotee of cooked breakfasts all over Australia, particularly over the last 10 years as a grey nomad. We travel between Melbourne & Eden often and for the last 3 years always plan the trip to stop here for brunch. If this isn’t the best traditional hot breakfast in the country it must be close to it and it comes with good friendly service and a very genial proprietor. Very clean premises. Recommend to anyone.
